RIMSE is a premier institution for higher education working in the field of Human Values for the last three decades. RIMSE’s humble effort in the field of Values Education has won appreciation from both Central and State Governments. The Union Ministry of Human Resource Development has recognized RIMSE as a “Regional Resource Centre for Education in Human Values”.

RIMSE offers a B. Ed Degree which is similar to the general B. Ed degree along with the additional inputs in terms of specialization course in content-cum-methodology in Values Education. RIMSE B. Ed course is affiliated to the University of Mysore and is recognized by National Council for Teachers Education (NCTE). This is a residential college and only men students are admitted. Special training in Communicative English, Basics of Computer and Yoga are unique features of this B. Ed program. Since its inception, this college has produced more than 3000 quality teachers trained in Values Education are contributing to the field of education as teachers, administrators and educational consultants in public and private sectors.
